ДРУЗЬЙ ПОЗНАЮТСЯ (УЗНАЮТСЯ) В ББДЁ (saying) a person who helps when one is in trouble is a true friend (said of a person who either was helpful in a time of need or, conversely, was callous to the person in trouble): - a friend in need is a friend indeedadversity shows (you) your true friends (who your friends are)you know who your (real) friends are when times are bad (in times of trouble, when trouble comes etc).
